From the fields of rural Iowa to the creative heart of Nashville, John Hemingway’s (Iowa State 67) journey has always been about cultivating meaning. After a lifetime rooted in agriculture, business and music, he’s now turned his talents toward something deeply personal: a tribute song for the brotherhood that shaped him.
Hemingway’s story began on a family farm where faith, family and music intertwined, eventually leading him to Iowa State and the support of his FarmHouse brothers during one of life’s hardest seasons. Those relationships—and the values they instilled—guided him through a successful career and into a second act as a Nashville songwriter.
Today, his new song honors the founders, friendships and character-building mission at the core of FarmHouse Fraternity. It’s a reminder that while life changes, the bonds and values of FarmHouse continue to guide us, shaping who we are and how we lead.
