A Letter From the Chapter President
Greetings from Manhattan, Kansas! I hope this message finds you well. As the current chapter president, I am excited to share an update on the Kansas State FarmHouse Fraternity. This past fall semester has been a remarkable one, filled with achievements, growth, and a continued commitment to our values.
Chapter Achievements
In recruitment, we successfully welcomed 24 new members into our brotherhood. These members have all contributed positively to the chapter and several of them have already stepped into leadership roles after our fall elections. We are excited to see how PC24 is able to give back to the chapter throughout their time in the house.
This fall, our chapter excelled both academically and in leadership across campus. With an average chapter GPA of 3.44, we continue to uphold a tradition of academic excellence. This included 24 members who earned a perfect 4.0. Acknowledging that “Progress Shall Mark Our Every Step”, we look forward to building on our academic tradition this spring semester.
This past November, we held our Chapter elections. It is always rewarding to see so many members willing to dedicate their time and energy to the betterment of the chapter. The individuals elected have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a commitment to our brotherhood. I am confident that, together, we will be able to guide our house toward success and continue to uphold the standards of FarmHouse.
Events
A highlight of the semester was our successful “Fright Night” Haunted House Philanthropy event. Not only is this fun for guys in the house to put on, but we were also able to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This event brought together K-State students and others in the Manhattan community for a great cause, and we are proud to continue our commitment to service.
We also hosted two exciting date parties: Barn Party, a country-themed evening with music and swing dancing, and our Semiformal. These offer opportunities for fun, fellowship, and a chance to show off our house culture to others in the Greek community.
Looking Ahead
As we begin the spring semester, our focus remains on strengthening our brotherhood, excelling academically, and forming young boys into men. Serving as president has been an incredible experience, and I am constantly inspired by the dedication of our active members and alumni. Together, we aim to build upon the strong foundation set for us. I am confident that the future of our chapter is bright. Thank you for all you do for FarmHouse. Please don’t hesitate to reach out or visit us anytime. Your presence and involvement mean the world to us and remind us of the legacy of FarmHouse.
Fraternally,
Jack O’Malley
