Pearls & Rubies Archive
The Pearls & Rubies digital archive contains more than 4,500 pages of content from 225 issues of the magazine over 80 years. The first Pearls & Rubies publication began in 1940. In 2016, thanks to the generosity of Jim Tobin (Iowa State 76), Master Builder, a digital archive of every print issue of Pearls & Rubies was created. Every print issue is now available online to read, search and learn from our proud history.
These issues showcase the work of FarmHouse men over nearly a century. This exclusive archive is available to enable FarmHouse members and friends to deeply explore and help preserve the history of our Fraternity. This comprehensive collection of Pearls & Rubies archives, funded through the FarmHouse Foundation, enriches the study of history through its exploration of the culture and values of university men and college-educated men as well as FarmHouse’s influence on the fields of agriculture, education, science and society, as well as the lives of its members.
