ABOUT
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement
FarmHouse is committed to nurturing a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment that fosters mutual respect for all members of our chapters and communities. If there is an instance in which this standard is not being met, we encourage others to share that information with us immediately. Please use the form linked below if you witness an act of bias or discrimination, or an incident causing bodily injury or property damage, that involves a FarmHouse chapter or member.
From the beginning, we have been led by the phrase “progress shall mark our every step” as we work to better ourselves and those with whom we are in fellowship. We recommit ourselves to the idea of personal achievement, as well as sacrifice and service, as we hope to contribute to the betterment of all people. We believe that the guiding principles of our fraternity, which include honesty, high moral character, scholarship, and service, are for everyone – regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual identity, religion or class.
In fact, as those who aspire toward exemplary moral character, we hold ourselves to the highest standard and acknowledge that our members should seek racial and social justice, assess our own biases and prejudices, and find opportunities to learn and serve our fellow brothers, classmates and citizens.
FarmHouse is committed to creating an atmosphere where all young men who share our values are welcome to become brothers and where racism, misogyny and discrimination will not be tolerated on any level. We will continue to evaluate and update our practices to ensure we are being good stewards of our influence and relationships, working toward progress as we have from the beginning.
