2016 Chapter Awards & Programming Awards

Chapter Award of Excellence scores and judging scores from the Chapter Programming Awards submissions have been tallied. The results below recognize those chapters who have exceeded the Fraternity’s standards and expectations in several ways.

Award of Excellence

Chapters are required to submit the application based on the 2016 calendar year and a total of 200 points are possible through four areas: programming, membership, scholarship and Ritual. Chapters scored on average an 82% of the possible points. Ten chapters rose above the 90% mark and are recognized with the Award of Excellence. Those chapters in alphabetical order are:

Programming Awards

Chapter Programming Awards recognize achievement in specific areas. This application is optional to complete, but to be considered for the Ruby Cup, chapters must complete this application. Chapters are split into green and gold divisions for judging to create comparison amongst peer chapters. We thank the 20 volunteer judges from 12 different chapters who assisted with the scoring process this year. They are asked to judge both the green and gold divisions in several categories.

Each category is judged on three areas: aesthetics, content and intuition. Each category and scores are averaged among 3-4 different judges to create a final score for each chapter. Chapters winning in each category and division are:
