The FarmHouse Ritual, the Builder of Men Affirmation, was presented by the 2006 Conclave Ritual Review Committee in Nashville, Tennessee and fully adopted in 2008. The Ritual was updated in 2016 to reflect the new mark of FarmHouse Fraternity. At the 2017 FarmHouse Leadership Institute, every chapter president was presented with a bound copy of the Builder of Men Affirmation for his respective chapter’s use, along with the materials necessary, to properly conduct FarmHouse Ritual. Every chapter is expected to follow the Ritual and its ceremonies. Replacement or individual bound copies of the Builder of Men Affirmation may be purchased by contacting the International headquarters.
Adopted by the International Executive Board in 2019, the Philosophy of Respect asserts the Fraternity’s position on the respect and dignity of members and non-members alike. It defines our expectations of FarmHouse men and holds the Fraternity accountable to the campus communities FarmHouse calls home.
The Policy Manual for Members, Chapters and Associations of FarmHouse, outlines the standards and expectations for those associated with the Fraternity and was updated in 2020. The Fraternity’s educational programs, resources and staff visits help members apply policy standards and with accountability for policy expectation compliance. The Policy Manual is reviewed annually to be responsive to the needs of our members.
The 2018-20 International Bylaws of FarmHouse Fraternity is the governing document for the work of the Fraternity, its Board, staff, chapters, associations and members. Bylaws are reviewed biennially and if necessary amended by the voting delegates of each biennial Conclave. Local bylaws are to comply with the Fraternity’s International Bylaws.
