Shane, a Rhode Island native, holds a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness management from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. In 2014, he was recognized with their Outstanding Young Alumnus Achievement Award. He is a Certified Master Instructional Designer through the Association for Talent Development, has achieved Level I Certification from the Cultural Intelligence Center, and successfully completed the Gallup Organization’s Certificate in Strengths-Based Education program.
Shane spent the last ten years with the National FFA Organization, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of educational programming for state-level leaders. During his time with FFA, he led a revision of their curriculum by aligning content to key focus areas. Shane championed a blended learning approach through online learning and served as the editor of FFA’s leadership magazine, Bright Ideas. He also re-branded the organization’s leadership seminar through the creation of learning objectives, pre- and post-assessment and reflective experiences.
Shane enjoys keeping pace with trends in the learning and development industry, visiting U.S. Presidential Libraries, traveling domestically and abroad, and keeping tabs on his young nephew.
