Jared Horman is a proud Missouri State grad with a passion for the power of the fraternity experience. He is a member of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi and graduated from MoState with a fine arts degree in graphic design in 2014.
After graduation, he served as an assistant communication director for Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, Foundation, Properties and The Ability Experience, from its national headquarters in Charlotte, NC. During his tenure with Pi Kappa Phi, he helped create and execute the fraternity’s comprehensive communication strategy across all four entities of the organization, in addition to resources for local chapters, including branding, marketing, social media, web development, editorial design and public relations.
A native of St. Joseph, Missouri, Jared loves the outdoors and recreational activities, animals and the thriving Midwestern culture of Kansas City.
As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Jared is responsible for the design, managing editor and publication operations of Pearls & Rubies; launch, maintenance and compliance of the Fraternity’s branding initiative, registered trademarks and style guide; graphic design of marketing collateral, recruitment materials and educational program promotion and support; management of overall communication strategy through print, mail, online and social media platforms; web design and content management; and archival document material support.
