“I could not be more thankful for the opportunity to take "The Journey," which was possible because of help from the Linville Scholarship. This life-changing experience has helped to guide my life in a better direction, while creating long- lasting relationships with my fellow brothers.” - Nate Byro (IA '15)

THE LINVILLE SCHOLARSHIP MADE THIS ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE

Nate Byro

“I could not be more thankful for the opportunity to take “The Journey," which was possible because of help from the Linville Scholarship. This life-changing experience has helped to guide my life in a better direction, while creating long-lasting relationships with my fellow brothers.”
- Nate Byro (IA ’15)

Jon Freese

“One of the most important discoveries I made during my five week term studying abroad in Cusco, Peru, was not among the remarkable Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. Instead, I learned a tiny amount of the power of language— whether learning a second language to make contact with entirely new communities or simply telling a story to a friend, the way we communicate to each other is incredibly important. I’d like to send an enormous thank you to Randy and Debbie Linville and the entire FarmHouse Foundation for the extraordinarily generous Linville Scholarship, a gift that allowed this learning opportunity in another culture to take place.”
- Jon Freese (NE ’15)

Daniel Phillips

“Thank you! My family and I are very appreciative of this scholarship to help me travel abroad.”
- Daniel Phillips (AU ’15)

Caleb Dostal

“Studying abroad at Oxford University is an exciting and valuable opportunity to learn and grow. The opportunities inside and outside of the classroom will contribute to a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I am honored to receive the Linville Scholarship as it will help make the opportunity possible and enjoyable.”
- Caleb Dostal (NE ’16)

Grant Cory

"Iceland has always been a land of mystery to me. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to go there to explore its beautiful land and nature. I am so thankful for this scholarship because without it, I would never have had the opportunity to do this through a study abroad trip. Now I get to see and learn about the environment there from those who know it best."
- Grant Cory (OH ’15)

Anthony Sufficool

“By spending an entire semester studying in Madrid, Spain, I will have the opportunity to further my undergraduate education while delving into the Spanish language and culture. Centered in the heart of Spain, I will be enrolled in aerospace engineering courses and surrounded by the true culture and experiences of this country. The Linville International Catalyst Fund Scholarship will help fund this opportunity, and, in turn, help me to expand and grow personally. Thank you."
- Anthony Sufficool (IA ’16)
