Computer Technology

With the ever-expanding technology needs of students today, the Foundation strives to provide young FarmHouse men with the tools necessary to be competitive in today’s university classroom. The Foundation’s Chapter Technology Fund provides support for computer technology needs of new chapters (10 years or younger). In addition, individual chapters can raise money through their Foundation Council to upgrade computers, wireless internet and renovate computer labs.

CHAPTER TECHNOLOGY FUND FOR NEW CHAPTERS

Since this program began, support by FarmHouse alumni and friends has enabled the Foundation to provide over $8,000 in technology grants to new chapters (10 years or younger) to help them purchase computers and affiliated technology in their chapter house for the educational benefit of their members. The assistance the Chapter Technology Fund provides new chapters goes beyond the physical purchase of computers and affiliated technology. It allows newly-chartered chapters to focus on growing and educating their members, gives them an edge for recruiting new members and helps ease some of the financial burden of a new chapter facility.
