Leadership Training

Each year the International Fraternity offers a variety of leadership and educational programs for FarmHouse undergraduates. It is the Foundation's goal to provide the financial resources to sustain and grow the funding for these important educational programs and projects. FarmHouse programs focus on general leadership skills and tools, ethics and ethically-based decision-making, community service and philanthropy, health and safety education, communication, conflict resolution, team dynamics and study skills. A gift to the FarmHouse Excellence Fund makes the following cutting edge initatives possible.

FarmHouse Leadership Institute

FARMHOUSE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

The seminal leadership program of the Fraternity is the annual FarmHouse Leadership Institute. Each January, for over 25 years, select chapter officers have attended this four-day institute at the beginning of their officer term. Arriving new and unsure of their role, they leave empowered and enabled with the leadership skills necessary to take on their respective leadership role. Facilitated by a team of staff and small group volunteers, this program is a hallmark of the FarmHouse member leadership program experience. Make an Impact >

Regional Leadership Conference (RLC)

REGIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES

Regional Leadership Conferences (RLC) are held biennially in February (non-Conclave years). This personal leadership development program is intended for FarmHouse members who desire to better themselves, as well as their chapter, through leadership workshops on personal growth, career preparedness, healthy chapter operations and brotherhood time with men from other campuses. The result is a value-added weekend, which maximizes and enhances the FarmHouse member experience. Make an Impact >

The To Be & Become Retreat

TO BE & BECOME...
EMERGING TALENT RETREAT

This annual retreat is designed to build on the strengths and leadership potential of new members of FarmHouse. Each chapter is invited to send a representative – a man who has completed his first year of college. The To Be & Become Retreat is a 3‐day institute set in a retreat‐style environment. Events incorporate the four‐fold mission of our Fraternity, allowing for daily reflection, social interactions with brothers, physical development and a one‐of‐a‐kind educational opportunity in an exciting and adventurous outdoor learning atmosphere. It is held each year in May at Camp Heartland on the banks of the Missouri River outside of Kansas City. It is sponsored by Monsanto.

The Power of 7 Seminar

POWER OF 7 SEMINAR

This award-winning seminar is a first class think-tank on the nation and FarmHouse Fraternity. The program is an informal forum, conducted under the leadership of the Foundation Trustees, on the international business climate and economy with an emphasis on agriculture, technology, healthcare and entrepreneurship. Membership in The Power of 7 is exclusive to alumni who pledge to give $7,000, a tax-deductible gift, to the Annual Fund. In return for their gift, they are invited to attend a dynamic, interactive two-day educational seminar in a casual resort setting and mentor a top junior or senior undergraduate leader. All FarmHouse juniors and seniors are invited to apply to attend. To learn more about this year’s Power of 7 Seminar, click here.

The Journey FarmHouse

THE JOURNEY: FARMHOUSE

The Journey: FarmHouse is a one-of-a-kind member experience to live the values of the Fraternity with brothers from across the country through this unique, week-long service immersion program. Partnering with Heart to Honduras, the Fraternity supports international development and relief efforts in the Central American country. In doing so, members learn about themselves, learn the value of community, broaden their world view and develop an appreciation for experiences new and previously unfamiliar. Make an Impact >
