Each year the International Fraternity offers a variety of leadership and educational programs for FarmHouse undergraduates. It is the Foundation's goal to provide the financial resources to sustain and grow the funding for these important educational programs and projects. FarmHouse programs focus on general leadership skills and tools, ethics and ethically-based decision-making, community service and philanthropy, healthy lifestyles, communication, conflict resolution, team dynamics and study skills. A gift in support of leadership training ensures that today’s undergraduate men are prepared to become tomorrow’s leaders.
FARMHOUSE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
This intensive 4-day program for presidents, vice presidents of finance, vice presidents of recruitment and directors of new member education is held each January in Kansas City. The FarmHouse Leadership Institute (FLI) provides a unique opportunity for officers from every chapter across North America to interact with each other as well as explore, define and enhance their leadership skills, personal awareness and commitment to FarmHouse. This experience is provided at no cost to the undergraduates thanks to the support of endowments created by generous FarmHouse alumni and the annual support of FarmHouse alumni and friends. TO BE & BECOME... EMERGING TALENT RETREAT
This annual retreat is designed to build on the strengths and leadership potential of new members of FarmHouse. Each chapter is invited to send a representative – a man who has completed his first year of college. The To Be & Become Retreat is a 3‐day institute set in a retreat‐style environment. Events incorporate the four‐fold mission of our Fraternity, allowing for daily reflection, social interactions with brothers, physical development and a one‐of‐a‐kind educational opportunity in an exciting and adventurous outdoor learning atmosphere. It is held each year in May at Camp Heartland on the banks of the Missouri River outside of Kansas City. It is sponsored by Monsanto. Make an Impact >
POWER OF 7 SEMINAR
This award-winning seminar is a first class think-tank on the nation and FarmHouse Fraternity. The program is an informal forum, conducted under the leadership of the Foundation Trustees, on the international business climate and economy with an emphasis on agriculture, technology, healthcare and entrepreneurship. Membership in The Power of 7 is exclusive to alumni who pledge to give $7,000, a tax-deductible gift, to the Annual Fund. In return for their gift, they are invited to attend a dynamic, interactive two-day educational seminar in a casual resort setting and mentor a top junior or senior undergraduate leader. All FarmHouse juniors and seniors are invited to apply to attend. To learn more about this year’s Power of 7 Seminar, click here.
CHAPTER CONSULTATION PROGRAM
Fraternity Educational Leadership Consultants visit each chapter and colony on a yearly basis. They live in the chapter house for several days, meet with chapter officers, offer educational and leadership programming to all chapter members and meet with alumni volunteers. They then make recommendations for improvement and provide support following the visit. This program is critical to evaluating and improving the health of FarmHouse chapters across North America. Conclave serves as the biennial meeting of the Fraternity. Every two years delegates from each chapter and association gather for a celebration and meetings of the Fraternity. Conclave serves many functions - it includes the official biennial business meetings of the Fraternity, educational programming workshops, recognition of chapters and alumni that have excelled and provides a forum for chapters and alumni to visit and share ideas, while celebrating the brotherhood that's unique to our Fraternity. Foundation funding supports the educational sessions and leadership training during Conclave. Make an Impact >

The FarmHouse GROWS recruitment school was created to encourage and support chapter growth in FarmHouse chapters across North America. THE JOURNEY: FARMHOUSE
The Journey: FarmHouse is a service immersion trip available to all FarmHouse undergraduate members. The first week of June each year, FarmHouse men and facilitators travel to Honduras to offer "service to their fellowmen and to the world." In Honduras, they serve a small, impoverished village by helping with projects - constructing a home, building a water purification system, working with local agriculture and interacting with village children. VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
Alumni are the lifeblood of a strong organization. Chapter advisors and association leaders are vital volunteers responsible for providing leadership, guidance and support to a local chapter, ensuring strong health and continued membership growth. Without capable local volunteers, a chapter can struggle with not only day-to-day operations, but with continuity and consistency for long-term sustainability on its respective campus. This belief is at the core for FarmHouse Fraternity’s creation of the Volunteer Leadership Summit (VLS). VLS is held during non-Conclave years and equips FarmHouse’s key local volunteers with the tools and knowledge required to ensure a positive fraternity experience. Make an Impact >
STAR MEMBER EXPERIENCE
The STAR Member Experience aims to enhance personal responsibility, while promoting the continued social fellowship opportunities afforded through chapter events and activities. Teams of trained volunteers and staff help deliver the curriculum for each component of STAR each semester through an on-campus, in-person workshop for the entire chapter.
The sequence of programs and workshops is targeted to help every student member with…
S – Skills: Build skills and knowledge regarding alcohol use and consumption.
T – Tactics: Develop tactics and strategies for safe social events.
A – Accountability: Learn how to hold members accountable for their actions should they violate policy and intervene where needed.
R – Reverence: Exhibit respect and reverence for the fraternity and the larger community by being a good citizen
