From the most humble gift to the most generous bequest. Thank you. With your support, “Building the Leaders of Tomorrow has been the Foundation's business as well as our passion for the past 40 years.

In 1966, the FarmHouse Foundation was officially established with a gift of $2,000 from the Executive Board of FarmHouse Fraternity and recognition by the IRS as a tax exempt trust to which donations were tax deductible. The $50,000 bequest Founder D. Howard “Daddy” Doane left when he died in 1984 was by far the single largest gift the Foundation had ever received. That bequest, and the gifts made in his memory by alumni and friends of the Fraternity at the time of his passing, took the Foundation to a whole new level.

It took another decade, and a very generous six-figure gift from Roy Reiman (IA '55) for the International Fraternity and Foundation to take the leap of faith necessary to set the Foundation on course as the full-time, professional fundraising arm of the Fraternity. By then the Foundation's endowment had grown to $650,000 and the groundwork had been laid for FarmHouse's first capital campaign, Campaign 2005.

Thanks to thousands of alumni and friends, Campaign 2005 was a total success and over $4.8 million was raised to guarantee that FarmHouse Fraternity continues to build men through resources for leadership, financial management, career training, scholarships and for grants for computers and other technology in chapter housing necessary on today's campuses.

We are fortunate to report that the momentum has continued after the conclusion of Campaign 2005 and we had another record year in terms of gifts, donor participation and funding to the Fraternity. Over 10 percent of FarmHouse members made a gift to the FarmHouse Foundation last year resulting in over $1,061,135 in gifts and pledges. The Foundation's net assets have grown to $5,210,515.
